Hi! I’m Sathammai.
I’ve been editing professionally since 2020 across fiction, non-fiction, academic, and business manuscripts. Around 2024, I repeatedly came across authors struggling to find an editor who understood modern writing, including the AI-assisted kind. That was my cue to start Falcon Edits.
At Falcon Edits, we keep pace with how publishing and writing are evolving, without losing sight of what good editing has always required: careful reading, honest feedback, and genuine craft.
Good editing isn’t about fixing comma splices. It’s about reading your manuscript the way your ideal reader will and telling you honestly what lands, what doesn’t, and how to close the gap. That’s what I show up to do on every project.
On Upwork, I hold a 100% Job Success Rate, which I’m proud of, but what it really means is that our authors keep coming back to us, and they refer their writer friends too.
What We Do
Falcon Edits offers developmental editing, copy editing, proofreading, and content humanization. Every project is approached on its own terms — your genre, your voice, your publishing goals. We read your work carefully, edit it thoughtfully, and give you feedback you can actually use.
Turnarounds typically run 7–14 days depending on the service and manuscript length. One round of revisions is included with every service.
Pricing is flat and upfront — no surprise fees or growing charges.
How We Work
Broadly speaking, every manuscript goes through the three stages:
- We talk through your goals, timeline, and what the manuscript needs. No generic packages pushed at you.
- A human editor works on your manuscript, improving the content wherever necessary and preserving what already works.
- You get your polished manuscript, detailed feedback, and a round of revisions if needed.
